With your cask sat vertically, use an ale extractor like this to make the connection between your cask and your beer engine. This rigid ale extractor has a 100% stainless steel body, including a ball valve at the top to shut off flow from your cask. 

The tap portion of this extractor is adjustable, meaning you can use it in pins, firkins, and kilderkins interchangeably. Draws beer from the bottom of the cask.
