Cask Type
With your cask sat vertically, use an ale extractor like this to make the connection between your cask and your beer engine - this ale extractor has been designed specifically for cellars struggling with space. This is a single-outlet rigid ale extractor with a Y-threaded connection, and comes pre-installed with a 1/2" barb tail connection.

The tap portion of this extractor is adjustable, meaning you can use it in pins, firkins, and kilderkins interchangeably. Draws beer from the bottom of the cask - the bottom of the extractor rod has a screw-in filter, which can prevent hops from entering your beer engine. Also known as a Vertical Ale Extractor.
